Collection cup gargle test

The collection cup features an embossed scale (20ml graduations) and a capacity of 100ml as well as a screw cap. The reverse side is eroded for better labelling. Together with the tube set (item no. 01798) you have all the items required for the so-called gargle test from the Wicovir study. This test procedure involves the testing of participating school classes twice weekly. This means: gargle tap water in the morning after getting up and fill the two tubes with the liquid. In the school, the contents of one of the two tubes is poured into a "pool" (collection cup). Afterwards, the combined fluids from the group are tested. If there are any indications of a Coronavirus infection, children and adolescents must present their second tube for individual tests so that the infected pupil(s) can be filtered out.
